AR83.25-P-1180-01R Replace Hot Water Circulation Pump And Connector

Special Tools:
1. Detach pin socket housing (4) on the hot water circulation pump (M13).
2. Disconnect pin socket housing (4) of the hot water circulation pump (M13) from the vehicle's own wiring harness.
3. Unroll felt tape.
Check the ends of the cable for corrosion.
4. Shorten the ends of the cable until there is no more corrosion to be seen at the ends of the cable.
5. Shorten repair cables to dimension as per the figure.
6. Strip insulation off the cable ends of the repair wiring harness as well as off the vehicle's own wiring harness.

7. Connect the repair wiring harness and vehicle's own wiring harness each with one soldered sleeve connector
8. Disassemble pin socket housing:
- Remove inlet by pressing on the locking lug (see arrow).
- Unlock pin socket locking device (50) and pull down off inlet.
9. Insert the pin socket of red/white cable extension (rt/ws) in the pin socket housing PIN 1 .
10. Insert the pin socket of yellow/brown cable extension (ge/br) in the pin socket housing PIN 2.
Observe markings on the pin socket housing.
- red/white cable to PIN 1 +
- yellow/brown cable to PIN 2
11. Secure pin sockets in the inlet with pin socket locking device (50).
12. Slide the pin socket housing over the inlet until the locking lug locks in position.
13. Tie back the soldered sleeve connector on the vehicle's own wiring harness and insulate the wiring harness branch-off line (1) with felt tape.
14. Attach clips to coolant hoses (2) and tighten securely
15. Loosen hose clips (1) and pull off coolant hoses (2).
16. Unscrew nut (3).
17. Remove hot water circulation pump (M13).
18. Fit bracket (5) from the old pump onto the new hot water circulation pump (M13) as per the figure.
19. Reinstall the hot water circulation pump (M13).
20. Screw on nut (3).
21. Attach coolant hoses (2) and tighten hoses clips (1) securely.
22. Remove clips from coolant hoses (2)
