Function
The hot water recirculating pump (M13) ensures that the heat exchanger is supplied with an even flow of coolant even at low engine speeds.
The AAC pushbutton control module (N22) transmits a request signal for the hot water recirculation pump (M13) via the CAN data bus to the passenger's SAM control module (N10/11). The passenger's SAM control module (N10/11) converts the request signal into an operating voltage, which then supplies the hot water recirculation pump (M13).

The hot water recirculation pump (13) is shut off by withdrawing the request signal. The request signal is suppressed for 25 s following the recognition of ignition "ON" in order to prevent temperature value falsification (engine electronics, exhaust characteristics).
