Switch Off Seat Heater, Function

Function requirements:
- Circuit 15R ON or circuit 15 ON
- No undervoltage or overvoltage
- The seat heater is switched on

Switching off manually
The seat heater is switched off by pressing the seat heater stage 1 and 2 switch (S91/2s18) (driver), seat heater stage 1 and 2 switch (S92/2s18) (passenger). Operation and function indication of the seat heater is summarized in the table in "Front seat heater, function".

The left door control module (N69/1)/right door control module (N69/2) interrupts the CAN message to the left front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/1) and right front seat adjustment with memory control module (N32/2) which switch off the heated cushions. At the same time the function LEDs go off.

1 Switching to circuit 15C
2 Starting engine
3 Seat adjustment
4 Emergency mode in electrical system
5 Undervoltage; function LEDs flash
6 Overvoltage
7 Time control; the seat heater switches off automatically after an operating time of 35 min.

In the case of points 1 - 6 the internal time sequence of the seat heater continues running for the time t = 5 min. if the initial state is again achieved within this time period, the seat heater continues running without any further operation of the switch.

NOTE: If the seat ventilation is operating, the seat heater continues to be operated until the seat ventilation is switched off.
