Emergency Call Telegram Generation, Function

After a TELE AID telediagnosis is activated, the CTEL and TELE AID transmitter/receiver, D2B (A35/17) automatically generates an emergency call message. It includes the following information:
- Vehicle location: Longitude and latitude
- Data for vehicle identification
- Model, model year, type of engine
- Information on current vehicle status
- Engine temperature
- Mileage
- Battery voltage
- Displayed malfunction and warning messages

The emergency call telegram is transmitted to the Mercedes Benz Customers Assistance Center (CAC) via mobile telephone (GSM 900 MHz) and is automatically decoded there to start corresponding help measures.

NOTE: TELE AID telediagnosis does only operate when the system is authorized.
