CAN B Bus Causing Numerous DTCs / SRS MIL Illumination
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicle VIN range of SRS MIL illumination, please perform the following applicable repairs.
1. If the SRS MIL is illuminated and any of the following DTCs (9070, 9071, 9072, 9078, 9079, 906C/D/E/F, 907A/B) are found, replace only the CGW with the part number listed below.
Note:
Should you need to replace the CGW, please ensure that the following two items are checked:
a. Telecommunications - set to present
b. COMAND or Audio - CD player - if equipped, set to present
2. If the SRS MIL is illuminated and the following DTC (9077) is found, replace the EIS with the part number provided below.
3. If the SRS MIL is illuminated and any of the following DTCs (9022, 9026) are found, only replace the seat occupancy/child seat recognition seat mat with level Q4 or higher.
