Cellular Telephone: "No Service" Displayed Despite Good Network Coverage
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the COMAND displays No Service" and cellular telephone is in the cradle, please verify that:
1. Vehicle is in area of known good coverage
2. Signal strength is present (1 to 5 bars)
3. Unplugging/plugging in phone
4. Powering on/off phone
Should the above steps resolve the issue the COMAND needs to be updated via CD flash. Please refer to DTB P-B-82.60/382 dated September 27, 2004 to obtain part information and flash procedure.
