GF72.29-P-2009Q Power Window Automatic Opening, Function

GF72.29-P-2009Q Power Window Automatic Opening, Function

Component Identification:

Function prerequisites:
^ No overvoltage or undervoltage
^ Windows normalized
^ Circuit 15 ON or circuit 15R ON

The automatic raising function is only possible for the windows in the doors

Driver-side control point
The window in the driver and passenger door can be closed automatically via the left front power window switch (S20/1s1) and right front power window switch (S20/1s2).
For this purpose, momentarily actuate left front power window switch (S20/1s1) and right front power window switch (S20/1s2) beyond the catch point. The corresponding signal is read in by the left door control module (N69/1).
The left front power window motor (M10/3) is directly actuated by the left door control module (N69/1).
The requests for the right front power window motor (M10/4) are transmitted to the right door control module (N69/2) via CAN class B bus, which then actuates the right front power window motor (M10/4).

Passenger control point
The window in the passenger door can be opened via the front passenger power window switch (S21/2).
For this purpose, momentarily actuate front passenger power window switch (S21/2) beyond catch point. The opening request is read in by the right door control module (N69/2).
The right front power window motor (M10/4) is directly actuated by the right door control module (N69/2)

The window can be stopped by reactuating (momentarily pressing) the corresponding power window switch (S20/1s1, S20/1s2 or S21/2).
The obstruction sensor and the excessive force limitation are active during the automatic raising function.

The windows can still be opened or closed for 5 min. after switching off circuit 15R as long as the doors are not opened. The valid door status (door open or closed) is transmitted to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) by the left door contact switch (S17/3) and right door contact switch (S17/4), which then relays the information to the CAN class B bus. When a door is opened or the vehicle is locked all active power window functions are terminated
