Driver-side control point
All windows can be closed manually with the driver-side power window switch group (S20/1) (actuate left front power window switch (S20/1s1) and right front power window switch (S20/1s2) only to the catch point.
The corresponding signal is read in by the left door control module (N69/1).
The left front power window motor (M10/3) is actuated directly by the left door control module (N69/1).
The locking requests for the right front power window motor (M10/4) are transmitted to the right door control module (N69/2) via CAN class bus which starts actuation.
The closing requests for the left rear power window motor (M10/5) and right rear power window motor (M10/6) are transmitted to the rear control module (N22/6) (on model 209.3) or power soft top control module (on model 209.4) via CAN class B bus, which then starts actuation.
Actuation of the rear window by the left rear power window switch (S21/3) and right rear power window switch (S21/4) can be enabled or disabled via the child safety lock switch in the rear side windows (S20/1s5).
Passenger control point
Only the window on the passenger side can be closed via the front passenger power window switch (S21/2) The closing request is read in by the right door control module (N69/2).
The right front power window motor (M10/4) is actuated directly by the right door control module (N69/2).
Rear control point
The corresponding rear window can be closed via the left rear power window switch (S21/3) and right rear power window switch (S21/4) The closing requests are read in by the rear control module (N22/6) (on model 209.3) or the power soft top control module (on model 209.4)
The left rear power window motor (M10/5) and right rear power window motor (M10/6) is directly actuated by the rear control module (N22/6) (on model 209.3) or power soft top control module (on model 209.4).
The windows can still be opened or closed for 5 min. after switching off circuit 15R as long as the doors are not opened. The valid door status (door open or closed) is transmitted to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) by the left door contact switch (S17/3) and right door contact switch (S17/4), which then relays the information to the CAN class B bus. When a door is opened or the vehicle is locked all active power window functions are terminated
