Function
The switch positions of the
^ left front power window switch (S20/1s1),
^ right front power window switch (S20/1s2),
^ left rear power window switch (S20/1s3),
^ right rear power window switch (S20/1s4) and
^ rear side window child safety lock switch (S20/1s5)
in the driver-side power window switch group (S20/1) are voltage-coded via resistors The coded voltage is read in by the left door control module (N69/1).

Mechanical positions
^ Center position Neutral
^ First detent (pull) Manual raising
^ Second detent (pull) Automatic raising (only for front side windows)
^ First detent (push) Manual lowering
^ Second detent (push) Automatic lowering (only for front side windows)

The rear side window child safety lock switch (S20/1s5) has two mechanical positions:
^ Child safety lock "ON"
^ Child safety lock "OFF"
