Remove, Install

Danger:
- Risk of explosion from electrolytic gas. Risk of poisoning and irritation if battery acid is swallowed. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid battries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect ground cable at battery

CAUTION:
- Do not connect quiescent current retention device otherwise this may cause damage to the control modules


2 Fold back right front floor covering (4)
3 Take out cover (1).
4 Unscrew nuts (2) of mounting plate (3).
5 Fold mounting plate (3) forwards.
6 Unscrew screws of Parktronic control module (N62)
7 Place Parktronic control module (N62) to the side.
8 Disconnect couplings of ETC control module (N15/3).
9 Unscrew screws of ETC control module (N15/3).
10 Remove ETC control module (N15/3) from mounting plate (3).
11 Install in the reverse order
12 Read out fault memory
