AR54.15-P-1310Q Remove/Install Driver's Side Interior Fuse Box







DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries.
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Unclip side cover (1) and remove
3 Unplug fuses

NOTE:
Installation: Observe installation position of fuses.

4 Unscrew bolt (2)
5 Remove interior fuse box (F34)
6 Remove insulating strip (3)

CAUTION!
Lever off carefully (danger of damaging).

7 Unscrew nut (4)
8 Disconnect terminal 30 cable from interior fuse box (F34)
9 Release female contacts and pull out of interior fuse box (F34)

NOTE:
- Installation: Note installed position of cables (mark for identification). Ensure that the female contacts are correctly locked.
- Only release female contacts in fuse base (non-detachable) (5).

Disconnect cables from control modules and fuse and relay boxes.

10 Unclip fuse base (detachable) (6) from interior fuse box (F34).

NOTE:
- Push release catches (7) inwards and pull fuse base (detachable) (6) out of interior fuse box (F34).
- Installation: Observe installation position of fuse base (detachable) (6) (mark for identification).

Disconnect cables from control modules and fuse and relay boxes.

11 Install in the reverse order
12 Perform basic programming
13 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase.
14 Check for proper function
