AR91.60-P-0720-01P Carry Out Test After Replacing The Seat Occupied Recognition

Special Tools:

1. Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS.
2. Read off actual value.

With empty seat: weight class = 0

Automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp (N72/1e1) on.

3. Place plate (1) on seat cushion.
4. Read off actual value.

With seat occupied (17.5 kg): weight class = 1

Automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp (N72/1e1) on.







5. Place plates (2, 3) together on plate (1).
6. Read off actual value.

With seat occupied (45 kg): weight class = 2

Automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp (N72/1e1) goes out.

7. Remove plates (1, 2, 3).







8. Read off actual value.

With empty seat: weight class = 0

Automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp (N72/1e1) on.

9. Read out and erase fault memory.
10. Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS.
