Switch Interior Lighting On By Means Of Anti-Theft Alarm, Function

Function on vehicles with anti-theft alarm system (ATA) (code 551a)
If the anti-theft alarm system (ATA) has triggered an alarm, the front dome lamp (N70e1) and rear dome lamp (E15/3) are switched on without dimming. If the alarm is canceled, the front dome lamp (N70e1) and rear dome lamp (E15/3) are switched off again.

Actuation of interior lamps
In the event of an ATA alarm, the message "switch on interior light - ATA" is placed on the interior CAN by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
The overhead control panel control unit (N70) reads this message and actuates the front dome lamp (N70e1) and rear dome lamp (E15/3).
