Outside Temperature Display Sensor: Service and Repair

AR54.30-P-6341Q Remove/Install Outside Temperature Indicator Sensor







DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Remove finder liner in front fender

NOTE: Only removed front fender liner.

3 Unclip outside temperature indicator temperature sensor (B14) and remove
4 Disconnect connector for outside temperature indicator temperature sensor (B14)
5 Install in the reverse order
6 Perform basic programming
7 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
8 Check for proper function
