AR54.65-P-0001Q Remove/Install Parktronic System (PTS) Sensors In Front Bumper
- with CODE (220a) Parktronic system (PTS)







DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Remove front bumper.
3 Unclip impact absorber (1)
4 Unlock connectors (2) and disconnect
5 Unlock catches in direction of arrow
- See Special Tools below

6 Remove PTS sensor unit (front bumper) (A42) from bracket

NOTE:
- In direction of arrow.
- Installation: Check sealing ring (4) and replace if damaged.

7 Install in the reverse order
8 Perform basic programming
9 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
10 Check for proper function
