Sliding/Pop-Up Roof (SR) Reverses
If you encounter instances in the above models of the sliding/pop-up roof (SR) reversing during the automatic locking tunction (convenience closing), please perform the following procedure. The overhead control panel monitors the drive motor speed via a hall sensor and stops and opens the roof slightly when it detects a reduction to the normal motor speed.
1.
Only model 203:
2. Check Q-status of overhead control panel control module. The OCP should have a Q5 status or higher. If Q level is lower, replace after checking. Refer to WIS document no. AR82.20-P-1000P.
3. Perform synchronization and learn-in procedure, for this purpose:
- Move sliding/pop-up roof (SR) to pop-up position =, hold SR switch down for approx. 2 seconds and then activate learn-in procedure.
- The learn-in procedure can be started manually on the new OCP via the button combination for the left reading lamp and rear lamp.
- Press buttons simultaneously or start via Star Diagnosis. Then deactivate button combination via Star Diagnosis (DAS update as of 08/02).
The reference values (resistance) are determined during the learn-in procedure and stored in the OCP.
The reference values remain stored in the event of a power failure and can only be written over via Star Diagnosis.
Continued reversing of sliding roof:
4. Open and close manually approx. 30 times (SR switch)
