AR72.29-P-1000Q Remove/Install Front Door Control Module







DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Remove liner from front door
Detach door foil in assembly area and attach using adhesive tape

NOTE:
- Carefully detach door foil and check thoroughly for damage, replace if necessary.
- Installation: Press on door foil using roller.
- See Special Tools below

3 Check butyl cord at door support, if necessary install new butyl cord

CAUTION!
Defective butyl cord causes leakage.

4 Detach couplings at left door control module (N69/1), right door control module (N69/2)
5 Press together clamps (2) and take out left door control module (N69/1), right door control module (N69/2)

NOTE:
Installation: Observe retaining lug at left door control module (N69/1), right door control module (N69/2)

6 Install in the reverse order
7 Perform basic programming
8 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
9 Check for proper function
