MB-Info service
The objective of the information call is to provide the customer with fast and convenient vehicle-specific information through the connection with the Customer Assistance Center (CAC). The information call is triggered manually by the driver. When the service button in the telephone handset (A34) is pressed, the D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) automatically establishes a connection to the Customer Assistance Center (CAC) through the mobile telephone system (D-net). This pure voice connection can be used to request all the available information related to the vehicle at no charge.
