GF82.95-P-2008QU Telediagnosis Function
- with CODE (349) E Call emergency call system

Telediagnosis is an extension of the Emergency-Call system. The objective of the telediagnosis service is quick and aimed support of the "24 h service".

Transmitting a roadside assistance call
The MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) is located in the arm rest module between the front seats. If the breakdown assistance button (S93/6s2) is pressed for longer than 2 seconds, the message "Telediagnosis call setup" appears in the instrument cluster (A1). If the voice connection to the Center is set up, the message "Tele Diagnosis connection active" appears. The message in the instrument cluster (A1) is not longer displayed at the end of a roadside assistance call.

The position and vehicle data transferred to the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center (CAC) are needed for fast and reliable processing of the breakdown.
If the fault can be rectified with the help of the diagnosis experts, telediagnosis is finished
If the fault is not rectified, the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center (CAC) will initiate further measures.
If local help is required position data are taken over into a mapping program with an electronic card. This serves for determining the vehicle location and the next MB service center. The latter is informed and receives from the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center (CAC) the necessary vehicle data in order to be able to introduce effective relief action.
Telediagnosis only functions when the system is authorized.
