Component Identification:

The position display in the instrument cluster (A1) is actuated by the ETC [ETC] control unit (N15/3) via the engine compartment CAN.

The program selection display in the instrument cluster (A1) is actuated by the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) likewise via the engine compartment CAN.

The program selection performed at the transmission mode switch (S16/5) remains stored only after driving for approx. 1 minute and is then displayed again after the engine is started again.

The driving time required of approx. 1 minute is due to the system.

The shift pattern display (87) is illuminated when the driving lights are switched on.
