Task
The heat exchanger (1) guarantees the rapid and optimum exchange of heat between the combustion heat and the coolant.

Structure
The heat exchanger (1) is comprised of a double-walled housing, the internal area of which is increased in size via ribs.

Together with the STH control module or the heater booster (A6n1), it forms an inseparable unit.
