Function
The switch-on heated seats function can be selected by the left front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s11) in the upper control panel control module (N72/1).

Moving the left front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s11) upwards activates or deactivates stage 1 of the heated seats

(1 LED in the left front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s10) or in the right front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s11) lights red). Moving the left front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s11) downwards activates or deactivates stage 2 of the heated seats (2 LEDs in left front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s10) or in the right front HS/seat ventilation switch (N72/1s11) lights red).

The upper control panel control module (N72/1) actuates the left front seat heated cushion (R13/1) and left front backrest heated cushion (R13/2) or the right front seat heated cushion (R13/3) and right front backrest heated cushion (R13/4), which are heated depending on the selected heating stage.

The circuit status on the electronic ignition switch control module (N73) and the battery voltage are notified via the CAN Class B to the upper control panel control module (N72/1).

The logic for the heated seats is integrated in the in the upper control panel control module (N72/1). A pulsed output, depending on the selected output stage, is outputted to the corresponding heating elements. See table shown below.
