Sliding/pop-up roof lock-up recognition, function

The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives the voltage pulses from Hall sensor 1 (M12b1) and Hall sensor 2 (M12b2) and evaluates these for measuring the position of the sliding/pop-up roof.
If the Hall sensor pulses are absent for longer than 0,2 s, in spite of actuation of the SR motor (M12m1), the drive is switched off.

If the sliding/pop-up roof locks up in the pop-up mode, it is also desynchronized. In addition, a mechanical thermostat safety switch on the SR motor (M12m1) protects it against overload. In the event of failure of Hall sensor 1 (M12b1) or Hall sensor 2 (M12b2), the sliding/pop-up roof can still be closed with the SR switch (N70s1) in increments of 160 ms or with the emergency crank.
