Function
When the locking button on the left door handle switch (S17/19) or right door handle switch (S17/21) is pressed and held down, the sliding/pop-up roof is closed.This sliding/pop-up roof closing operation corresponds to a manual closing operation.The closing operation is relayed
^ from the left door handle switch (S17/19) via the left door Keyless go control module (N69/8) or from the
^ right door handle switch (S17/21) via the right door Keyless go control module (N69/9) to the EIS control module (N73), which acts as a gateway between the Keyless go data bus and CAN class B bus. Via the CAN class B bus, the information is forwarded to the overhead control panel control module (N70), which actuates the SR motor (M12m1) accordingly in the closing direction.It is not possible to open the sliding/pop-up roof with the Keyless go feature. If during the sliding/pop-up roof closing operation via Keyless go, the locking button on the left door handle switch (S17/19) or right door handle switch (S17/21) is released and pressed again, the sliding/pop-up roof is actuated in the opening direction for 2 s. This emergency opening function serves as a pinch protection feature.

During convenience closing with the Keyless go feature, the side windows are also closed.
