1 Remove door liner

DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

2 Disconnect ground cable of battery
3 Pull off door foil (1) at bottom left and attach using adhesive tape

NOTE:
- Carefully remove door foil (1) and check precisely for damage, replace if necessary.
- Installation: Press door foil (1) on using roller.

4 Remove rub strip on the door
5 Unscrew screws
6 Slide left (A2/38), right (A2/40) door Keyless Go antenna and remove
7 Disconnect connector (2)
8 Install in the reverse order
9 Perform basic programming
10 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
11 Check for proper function
