Function (Vehicles up to model year 08 /YoM 07)
Actuation possibilities for convenience feature:
^ Convenience opening with transmitter key (A8/1)
^ Convenience closing with transmitter key (A8/1)
^ Convenience opening via recirculated air switch (N22s2 or N22/7s2)
^ Convenience closing via recirculated air switch (N22s2 or N22/7s2)
^ Convenience closing via keyless go (on vehicles with code (889) Keyless go)

With the convenience closing and opening function, all side windows and the tilting/sliding roof (with code (414) Electric glass tilting/sliding door ) can be closed or opened.

The left front power window motor (M10/3) or right front power window motor (M10/4) is actuated via the left door control unit N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2), the left rear power window motor (M10/5) or right rear power window motor (M10/6) on the rear side windows is actuated via the rear control unit N22/6).
on vehicles with code (414) Electric glass tilting/sliding door, the tilting/sliding roof can be closed and opened additionally with the convenience actuation. Actuation of the SR motor (M12m1) is accomplished via the overhead control panel control unit (N70).
