Remove rubber mounts

1 Measure and note down press-in depth of inner core of both rubber mounts (62) to rear axle crossmember from front using depth gauge.





2 Use sleeve, Component 15 (062l), thrust plate, Component 16 (062q) and bolt (116 mm in length) to press both rubber bushings forward for removal from the transverse differential support bracket.

Install rubber mount

3 Working from the front, position the rubber bushing (62) on the transverse differential support bracket with the end cover on the final-drive unit toward the front.

4 Use insertion tool, component 07 (062p), sleeve, component 15 (062l) and bolt (116 mm in length) with nut to pull both rubber bushings (62) into the transverse differential support bracket, continuing until you obtain the previously measured insertion depth.

5 Check insertion depth of the rubber bushings (62) and correct as required.
Repeat step 3 if the insertion depth is incorrect.
