The trunk lid drive motor (M15/2) opens and closes the trunk lid via the drive mechanism of the trunk lid. The motion is monitored by the trunk lid opening angle recognition sensor (B24/16). When the stored end positions are reached in the RTL control module (N121) (trunk lid open or closed) the trunk lid drive motor (M15/2) is switched off.

The RTL control module (N121) actuates the trunk lid drive motor (M15/2) and evaluates the trunk lid opening angle recognition sensor (B24/16).
