- with CODE (813) Voice control system (VCS)







DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect battery ground line

CAUTION!
Do not connect quiescent current retention unit as this may cause disturbance to the control module.

2 Remove steering angle sensor
3 Detach switch module (3)

NOTE: Detach switch module (3) with voice control system switch (S93/2), cruise control pushbutton switch (S40) and steering column adjustment switch (S59). An electric connection is established using a fixed socket flange.

4 Remove voice control system switch (S93/2)
5 Install in the reverse order
6 Perform basic programming
7 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
8 Perform function check
