GF82.60-P-2002Q CD-Player Mode, Function
- with CODE (756b) MB Audio 10 CD radio with TP/RDS
- with CODE (819a) CD changer
Audio CDs are played using the CD drive of the radio (A2) or the CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6). The CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) can handle up to 6 CDs.
The CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) notifies the radio (A2) after it has been reconnected or a magazine has been changed via the magazine recesses.
If a selected CD is not present, "CDxNOCD" is displayed for 4 sec., during which time the currently loaded CD continues to play. When the final track of a CD has been played, the next CD in the magazine is automatically selected and starts to play at track 1. The system automatically switches to radio operation if the magazine is removed during CD operation.
Title skip
Pressing the skip button causes the player to skip to the next track. After the track has been played for 10 seconds, the player jumps back to the beginning of the track. The new track number appears on the display immediately if a track is skipped. If the final track has been reached, the system skips to the first track. If the left track skip button is pressed, the system switches from the first to the last track.
CD music search
An audible fast forward or rewind (music search scan) stops at the end of the final track on the CD. The system does not skip to the first track or the next CD. The same applies when the beginning of the first track is reached when the system is performing a fast rewind.
Pause function
The playing of a CD is interrupted by the following events and the CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) is paused:
^ Traffic announcements
^ Incoming or outgoing telephone calls via Digital Data Bus (D2B)
^ Telephone muting
