Replace Emergency Call System Battery

Shown On Model 203.0:

1 Switch emergency call system into service mode
- Switch on ignition.
- Switch on telephone.
- On telephone handset, enter *#4610#.
- Confirm message "No telematics service" with OK.
- Switch off ignition.
- Switch off telephone.

2 Remove rear seat rear cover
3 Unscrew screws (1)
4 Dismantle cover from TELE AID control module (A35/8)
5 Disconnect connection coupling
6 Remove backup battery (2)
7 Insert new backup battery (2) and connect connection coupling

NOTE: Carefully connect connection coupling.

8 Fit cover to TELE AID control module (A35/8)

NOTE: Secure cover using bolts (1).

9 Switch off service mode in emergency call system
- Switch on ignition.
- Confirm message "Leave service mode" with okay on handset.
- Confirm message "No telematic service" with okay.
- Switch off ignition.

10 Install luggage compartment floor paneling
