GF80.50-P-4104-02Q Interior Motion Sensor Transmitter/Receiver, Function

GF80.50-P-4104-02Q Interior Motion Sensor Transmitter/Receiver, Function
- with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA)
- with CODE (882b) Interior motion sensor (only with anti-theft alarm system)

Activation/deactivation
The interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) and the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (slave) (A26/15) (not on model 209.3) are activated and deactivated by corresponding commands via the data interface of the overhead control panel control module (N70)
The interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) and the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (slave) (A26/15) (not on model 209.3) operate as motion detectors and monitor the passenger compartment with the aid of non-directional ultrasonic signals.
They are reflected by the passenger compartment

Only model 209.4
Do not lay metallic objects on front center stowage compartment (center console) and rear stowage shell to prevent erroneous alarm

Interior motion sensor
The reflections are registered by the receiver of the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) and via the receiver of the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (slave) (A26/15) (not on model 209.3) and are evaluated by the micro controller. The reflection pattern changes when objects in the interior are moved. This allows the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) and the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (slave) (A26/15) (not on model 209.3) to recognize an attempt to break into the vehicle.

Alarm actuation
If an alarm criterion is recognized, the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/14) and the interior motion sensor transmitter/receiver (A26/15) (not on model 209.3) outputs a corresponding signal to the overhead control panel control module (N70) The overhead control panel control module (N70) relays the signal via the CAN interior compartment bus to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) which starts the optical and acoustic alarm.
