AR35.30-P-0660-04I Caulk inner CV joint to rear-axle shaft
- with bolted rear axle shafts
- 215, 220, 234.474 up to 31.8.03

Shell halves (2 ea.) for pressing off and caulking the inner constant velocity joint.

Component Identification:

1 Support inner constant velocity joint with the two shell halves (063a).

2 Apply caulking (arrows) using a suitable cross-cut chisel (approx. 5 mm wide), whereby the material must "flow" into the groove in the rear-axle shaft.

The caulking must be applied to the land at an offset of 120 degrees. It must not be applied in the vicinity of the narrow ball raceway.

The caulking must be carried out such that the hub of the inner constant velocity joint can no longer be slid along the rear axle shaft.
