Instrument Cluster Shows Dashes Instead of Main Odometer Reading

If you receive reports in the above model vehicles of the main odometer reading dashes after replacing the instrument cluster or the electronic ignition switch (EIS), this may be due to data transfer issues between the two control units. To resolve, use SDS version 02/2006 or later. No additional instrument cluster will be required.
