Entry to EIS Variant Coding Intermittently Not Possible
It may be intermittently not possible to access the variant coding function in EIS for Models C215 and WN 220 with EIS part numbers 215 545 04 08 and 215 545 05 08.
In order to access coding if this occurs, use R230 SL500 pathway in SDS to enter the vehicle diagnostic.
Once EIS is reached, go to:
- Control Unit Adaptations
- Read version coding and change if necessary
- Series and engine version
