Task
When actuated, release engine oil gallery (pressure oil) to the rocker arm shafts

Design/function
The voltage is supplied to the electromagnetic valves for cylinder shutoff from terminal 87. The cylinder shutoff valve is actuated in cycles on the ground side by the engine control module (ME-SFI). A breakaway starting current up to 3.5 A (on/off ratio approx. 95%) is permissible briefly. The holding current is approx. 1 A.
