AR83.55-P-5250E Correct Oil Level In AC System When Replacing Compressor

1 Drain removed refrigerant compressor and measure oil quantity

NOTE: Carry work out rapidly, as compressor oil is hygroscopic

2 Discharge new refrigerant compressor and measure oil quantity
- See "Refrigerant Compressor" given below.

3 Fill same quantity of compressor oil into new refrigerant compressor as was measured on removed one.

NOTE: Fill in an additional 10 cu.cm for the new A/C compressor.

- The oil drained out of the new A/C compressor can also be used.
