Rear Coolant Circulation Pump (Models With Rear A/C)

Purpose
The coolant circulation pump for the rear A/C system serves for maintaining a uniform flow of heating water through the heater core even at low engine speeds and in the residual engine heat utilization mode.

Function
The quantity of coolant circulating through the heater core with the engine running depends on the coolant pump. The coolant circulation pump ensures that a uniform quantity of bubble-free water flows through the rear heater core even at low engine speeds. The coolant circulation pumps controlled directly by the rear A/C pushbutton control module.
