1 Switch off ignition and reduce pressure in booster circuit (while doing so press brake pedal approx. 30 times).
2 Switch on ignition and measure the time until the motor/pump unit is switched off.

Time between 40 and 70 s: System OK.

Time > 70 s: Motor/pump unit defective.

Time < 40 s: Brake booster hydraulic unit defective.

3 Switch off ignition.
