AR86.10-P-0114-01A Tightening Instructions For Fire Extinguishing System Extinguishing Agent Lines
(MODEL 463.248 with CODE (979) Special protected version MODEL 220.1 /8 with CODE (Z04) Light armoring with CODE (Z07) Top protection).






1. Screw on connection nut manually until a noticeable resistance be felt.







2. Tighten connection nut 1-1/2 turns.

A marking line facilitates checking the number of turns.







3. Loosen connection nut slightly to release tension on extinguishing agent line or extinguishing agent pressure hose.







4. Tighten nut again until a noticeable resistance is felt clearly and tighten 1/4 turn for final assembly.

Hold with second wrench.







5. Completely disconnect connection to check deformation.

A clear raised bead must be visible on the inside of the tubing.







6. When reinstalling the same fitting, again tighten connection nut until the stop can be clearly felt. For final installation, tighten the fitting another 1/4 turn.

When reinstalling, lubricate parts.
