AR82.70-P-8920I Remove/Install Vehicle Interface (Cellular Telephone)
- with CODE (317) GSM cellular telephone (D2B) [up to 06/30/00]
- with CODE (854) MB cellular telephone [as of 07/01/00]

Shown On Model 220:

1 Connect quiescent current retention unit
- See "Commercially Available Tools" below.

2 Disconnect ground cable of battery
3.1 Remove rear seat cushion
3.2 Remove bucket seats
- Model 220 with code 401, right side only.
4 Remove seat adjustment mechanism on rear seat
- Model 220 with code 401, right side only.
5 Unscrew screws (1) and nuts (2) and remove mounting plate (3) from vehicle floor
6 Unscrew screws (4)
7 Release connectors (5) on D2B interface for cellular telephone (A59/1) and disconnect

CAUTION: Do not bend D2B wires.

NOTE: If the D2B interface for cellular telephone (A59/1) remains removed for a longer period of time, it is necessary to install an adapter to close the DB2 ring.

8 Install in the reverse order.
