Rear

Purpose
The blower sucks air out of the vehicle passenger compartment into the rear A/C housing.
The rear air conditioning operates exclusively in the recirculated air mode.

Function
The rear A/C pushbutton control module transfers a control voltage of 0 - 6V to the rear blower regulator. This then controls the operating voltage for the rear blower (0-12 V) depending on the control voltage present. This provides for control of the blower speed from 0 - 100 %.

The blower control (operating voltage) is affected by the following factors:

- Blower speed (AUT0/manual).
- Control functions (ON/OUT, EC, REST, air distribution)
- Circuit 15 (blower ON), starter running (blower OFF)
