AR83.60-P-9050M Remove/Install Rear Duovalve/Circulation Pump Compact Unit

DANGER:
Danger of severe burns to skin and eyes from hot coolant spewing out. Coolant is toxic when swallowed.
- Open cooling system only when coolant temperature is below 90 degrees C. Open cover slowly and reduce pressure. Do not fill beverage containers with coolant. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and protective goggles.

1 Release pressure in cooling system

NOTE: For this purpose, turn radiator cap to catch "1" and close again.

2 Remove right front wheel
3 Remove right front inner fender
4 Unscrew 2 nuts (1)
5 Remove rear auxiliary heater supply unit (A31/1) with bracket
6 Disconnect connector (6) from coolant circulation pump
7 Disconnect connector (5) from duovalve
8 Attach clamps to heater hoses (2)
- See "Special Tools" given below.

9 Loosen hose clamps (3), pull off heater hoses (2)
10 Push rubber mount (4) for rear auxiliary heater supply unit (A31/1) out of mount and remove
11 Install in opposite order.

NOTE: Installation: After completion of work correct coolant level and check for leakage.
