AR77.20-P-1000M Remove/Install Sliding/Pop-Up Roof Panel







1 Push cover on sliding roof to rear
2 Open sliding/pop-up roof approx. 10 cm
3 Remove molding (2)
- Installation Wedge: See "Special Tools" below.

NOTE: Before pulling off press off molding (2) on outside with plastic wedge (see arrow)

4 Move sliding/pop-up roof to pop-up position
5 Remove rail (3) on rubber bellows (4) in direction of arrow

CAUTION: Unclip rail (3) at front first

6 Unhook rubber bellows (4) on sliding/pop-up roof panel (1) so that Torx screws (5) are accessible

CAUTION: Do not damage rubber bellows (4)

7 Unscrew Torx screw (5)
- See "Special Tools" below.

- Screw for sliding/pop-up roof panel on titling bracket mount: 4 Nm

8 Unclip and disconnect connector (6) from frame for sliding/pop-up roof (1) with installation wedge
- See "Special Tools" below.

CAUTION: Do not damage frame for sliding/pop-up roof (1). Do not pull on cable to disconnect connector (6)

9 Remove sliding/pop-up roof panel (1)
10 Install in opposite order
11 Adjust sliding/pop-up roof panel (1) in relation to outer roof surface and tighten Torx screws (5).
