AR32.20-P-0300D Remove/Install Torsion Bar on Front Axle






NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.

REMOVAL
1. Remove bolt (23c)
2. Remove bolt (21d), then the bracket (21b) from cover plate (21g)
3. Remove stabilizer bar (10)
4. Remove rubber mounted connecting link (23 from stabilizer bar (10)
5. Remove rubber mounts (21a) from stabilizer bar (10)

INSTALLATION
- Install in reverse sequence, noting the following:
- Replace self-locking bolts and nuts
- Align stabilizer bar (10)
- Lubricate rubber bushings with naphthalene H, or equivalent rubber lubricant
- Tighten the following components as follows:
- Self-locking screws of stabilizer bar on frame: 20 Nm
- Self-locking screws of stabilizer bar connecting rod at wishbone: 80 Nm
