AR46.30-P-0500PA Remove/Install Power Steering Pump

Removing And Installing Power Steering Pump

Shown On Model 203:

1 Remove air cleaner
2 Remove poly-V-belt (130)
3 Extract oil from power steering pump supply reservoir
4 Detach return line (30f) to reservoir
- Seal pipe connection with blind plug
5 Unscrew bracket high-pressure expansion hose (30i) to refrigerant compressor
- Model 203 fitted with air conditioning
6 Disconnect high-pressure expansion hose (30i) to power steering pump

NOTE: Installation: Replace O-ring (30h)

7 Remove bolt of oil-dipstick bracket (135a) to power steering pump
8 Detach ground cable at rear of power steering pump
9 Detach and remove power steering pump (30)

NOTE: To remove the power-steering pump, first tilt it down, then pull up to swivel outward

10 Install in the reverse order
11 Filling and bleeding power steering pump
