Flashing / Flickering of Headlamps and/or Instrument Cluster Illumination
If you receive customer reports on the above model vehicles of headlamp or instrument cluster (IC) illumination flashing, the front signal recording and actuation module (SAM) control unit may need to be changed due to a software error.
1. If the headlamp and or the IC illumination flash when the ignition key is inserted and or rotary light switch position is set to "Automatic and the part number of the front SAM (N10/1) is in the affected range below, then N10/1 needs to be replaced.

2. Replace N10/1 as per WIS document AR54.21-P-1260P.
