standing lights actuation function sequence
1 The rotary light switch (S1s1) of the light switch module (S1) is set to the "standing lights ON" position.
2 The front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) registers the applied position of the rotary light switch (S1s1).
3 The front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) actuates the standing lights in the left and right lamp units (E1 and E2) and transmits - at the same time - the "standing lights ON" signal over the CAN interior to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
4 The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) actuates the taillights and parking lights (E3e2 and E4e2) and the left and right license plate lamps (E19/1 and E19/2).
In addition to the standing lights, the left front side marker lamp (United States of America) and right front side marker lamp (United States of America) (E6/1 and E6/2) as well as the left rear side marker lamp (United States of America) and right rear side marker lamp (United States of America) (E6/3 and E6/4) are actuated.
