Key-Related Memory Block Selection

Function
Storage of the driver's seat position in the left front seat adjustment control module with memory (N32/1) (Right-hand steering:right front seat adjustment control module with memory (N32/2)) is key related.

The EIS control module (N73) converts the updated key track into a storage block number. If the key-related function is active, a standard assignment exists between the key track and the storage block number as under the following list. This is transmitted cyclically by the CAN.

If the key-related function is deactivated in the instrument cluster all settings are assigned to storage block number 3. The EIS control module (N73) only transmits storage block number 3 when the key-related function is no longer active.

The storage place button of the driver/passenger side seat adjustment switch train (memory) (S91/2)/(S9212), is emitted by each respective left / right front door control module (N69/1)/(N69/2):

- Outside rearview mirror position
- Mirror park position
- Air conditioning settings
- Instrument cluster settings
