Removing And Installing Rubber Bellows On Sliding/Pop-up Roof







DANGER:
Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate and sliding roof.
- When moving components ensure that no body parts or limbs are in the area of movement.

1 Open sliding/pop-up roof
2 Unclip front rubber bellows mount (1)
3 Pivot rubber bellows mount (1) upward
4 Unclip rubber bellows mount (1) at rear and remove
5 Unclip rubber bellows (2) from guide rail (3)

NOTE: Start at rear

6 Pull rubber bellows (2) out of rubber bellows rail (4)
7 Remove rubber bellows (2)

NOTE: Angularly toward front.

8 Move sliding/pop-up roof to pop-up position
9 Unclip rubber bellows rail (4)

NOTE: Start at rear

10 Pull rubber bellows rail (4) out of sliding/popup roof cover(5)

CAUTION: Installation: Guide pin (6) should catch audibly.

NOTE: Toward front.

11 Install in the reverse order
